HOTEL POLICY

  1. By checking in as a guest, you agree and understand that your personal information (including your driver’s licence number, and where self-check-in kiosks are used, your photo ID) will be collected, used, stored and disclosed by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy (https://www.alhgroup.com.au/privacy), which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

  2. By checking in and signing at the bottom of this form, you agree that you are personally liable for the payment of all charges incurred by the person, company or association indicated below. Your signature below indicates that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

  3. Check-in time is 2.00 pm and check-out time is 10.00 am.  Any extension of stay must be confirmed with Hotel management prior to the departure time of 10 am on the day of departure.  

  4. Visitors are not allowed in guest rooms after 10.00 pm.

  5. All rooms are charged on a per-night basis. Additional guests can be accommodated in some rooms. Additional personal charges may apply.

  6. Guests will need to provide a current valid credit card on arrival at the hotel. Guests will also be required to provide photo identification on check-in matching the reservation name. The Hotel Reception will require a credit card deposit and this deposit will be held until such time as settlement occurs and/or per the cardholder’s financial institution policy.

  7. ALH Group accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Diners Club.  Should your credit card be declined with respect to any relevant charges, a formal notice of billing will be issued to you, to be paid within seven (7) days.

  8. You will be held responsible for any missing or damaged items in your hotel room or any internal/external areas of the Hotel caused by you or any person(s) for whom you are responsible. You agree that the Hotel may charge you for any costs incurred as a result of the missing or damaged items/areas using the credit card received on check-in, and you will be sent an itemised receipt outlining all charges applied. 

  9. You should ensure that your hotel room door is properly secure at all times. The Hotel assumes no responsibility for any loss of personal items and/or valuables left in your room(s).  

  10. In the event, room keys are lost or damaged, only registered guests with valid identification will be issued additional keys or be allowed access into the hotel room by Hotel management. Reasonable replacement charges may apply for any keys lost, damaged or not returned on departure.

  11. All rooms & common areas are subject to a strict ‘No Smoking, No Vaping Policy', a ‘No Party Policy’ and a ‘No Pets Policy’.  If any of these policies are breached, the Hotel reserves the right to charge you a penalty fee of up to $500, as well as any additional cleaning costs (charged to the credit card received on check-in).  You may also be asked to vacate the premises without a refund.

  12. If a false fire alarm is activated from activity in your room, a $2,000 fee imposed by the Fire Brigade Service will be charged to you on the credit card we received from you on check-in. For safety reasons, we urge guests to refrain from tampering with or covering fire equipment or smoke alarms at any time. 

  13. Complimentary on-site parking is available for guests, where available, otherwise, street parking is available. You agree to park your car at your own risk. ALH Group does not accept responsibility for damage to your car or loss of property during your stay.  

  14. Child Policy:
    Infants: 0 - 2 years inclusive, Children: 3 - 11 years inclusive, Adults: 12 years and above. A maximum of one child only is allowed to share existing bedding with an adult(s) in any one room. Additional bedding charges per night may apply. Additional bedding consisting of a maximum of one rollaway bed in some rooms (subject to availability) where available.

  15. All rooms are to be used solely for guest accommodation and are not to be used for commercial activity. ALH Group reserves the right to cancel accommodation should this provision be breached.   

  16. The Hotel reserves the right to add, alter or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

    RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

  17. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse service or evict a guest or visitor if they are in breach of these Terms and Conditions or demonstrate inappropriate behaviour including, but not limited to, intoxication, abusive conduct that poses a threat to others, ignoring requests to reduce excessive noise, wilful damage to property and any incident for which the police need to be called to the premises.

  18. ALH Group may blacklist evicted guests and/or visitors from all of its hotels at its reasonable discretion and may not disclose its reason to the guest and/or visitor.  

    RESERVATION POLICY

  19. Credit card details are required to make a booking. ALH Group reserves the right to relocate any booking to a hotel of the same standard. All bookings are subject to availability. You must be at least 18 years of age to book hotels on this website. Full payment is taken upon arrival and a minimum $100 deposit will be taken from a valid credit card upon arrival at the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to refuse a person entry if a credit card/deposit cannot be provided. Guests agree that all information given for the booking is true and correct. Credit card details must be the same as the details of the person making the booking.

  20. Please note that for bookings over the 20-31 December period, your credit card will be charged one (1) night's accommodation seven (7) days prior to your arrival.

  21. Guests who have booked through a travel agency or third-party website must contact these companies directly to make any cancellations or changes to their reservations.

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    The following cancellation policy applies:

  22. ADVANCE PURCHASE RATES ONLY: Reservations will be charged in full at the time of booking, and cancellations and amendments will result in any paid nights being forfeited. If payment cannot be processed at the time of booking, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.

  23. ALL OTHER BOOKINGS: A minimum of 24 hours notice is required by this property for cancellations or changes. Cancellations or changes made within 24 hours of check-in time will forfeit the full amount of the first night booked.

  24. EARLY DEPARTURE: The Hotel reserves the right to charge an early departure fee of one night in the event you leave earlier than the original departure date and less than 24 hours’ notice is provided if notified after 2.00 pm on the day of departure.

  25. NO SHOW - The first night booked will be charged and the reservation will be cancelled after the first night.

    PRIVACY POLICY

  26. We collect your personal information when you make a booking with us. Our Privacy Policy provides details on how the ALH Group collects, uses and discloses your personal information and how you can access your personal information or raise a complaint about the management of your personal information. 

  27. If you have subscribed to Nightcap Hotels you agree that we may send you commercial electronic messages and tailored advertising via email where you have not opted out (as described below) from receiving such electronic messages sent to you by Nightcap Hotels. Your agreement to receive commercial electronic messages from us will be effective until you opt-out.

  28. You may opt out of the receipt of commercial electronic messages, by using the unsubscribe facility in the footer of any commercial electronic message. If you tell us you opt out of the receipt of such material, you will only receive information we are required by law to provide to you or factual information directly about your account, including changes to these terms and conditions and/or the Privacy Policy.

  29. Opting out of receiving commercial electronic messages from Nightcap Hotels will not withdraw your consent to receive messages from other ALH Group venues. Any consent you have provided to receive commercial electronic messages from other ALH Group venues is governed under separate terms and conditions that apply to those other ALH Group venues. If you would like to opt out of other ALH Group venues, please follow the opt-out facilities in the relevant communications or other opt-out options set out in their terms and conditions.
