In our 16th year of support for the Good Friday Appeal, Parma Week returned. A fundraising initiative that 74 venues across Victoria participated in, raising much needed funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital. From the 21st to the 28th of March, $2 from every chicken parma sold was added to the tally, culminating in a total amount of $28,186 raised.
In support of Rural Aid and farmers across the country, the ALH Group’s ‘Parma for a Farmer’ has returned to more than 300 ALH pubs. Kicking off from the 1st of February and running through the whole month, $1 from every chicken parma sold will go towards providing critical support to farmers affected by natural disasters through financial, wellbeing and fodder assistance.
In the last year, we’ve been busy giving one of our local icons, The Stamford, a well deserved lick of paint. After months of work (and some inclement weather holding the team back), The Stamford’s brand new sports bar, beer garden and function spaces are open for business.

Last week, the ALH team limbered up and took to the treadmills, all in the name of Very Special Kids. The 24 Hour Treadmill Challenge is a fundraising event, held each year, that raises funds for Very Special Kids, an organisation that provides specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and support for their families.
This month we celebrated our first cohort of graduates from the Assistant Managers Pathway Program, an exclusive learning and development course that provides team members with the tools to grow their leadership capabilities and sharpen their management skills.
After months of construction and hard work, The Brook is officially open for business. A mammoth undertaking, the much loved community favourite in Mitchelton closed its doors, with the old building making way for something brand new.
