After months of construction and hard work, The Brook is officially open for business. A mammoth undertaking, with the much loved community favourite in Mitchelton closing its doors for a period of time. The old building was demolished, making way for something brand new.
Now, with the doors of the new Brook Hotel officially open, the exterior and experience is fresh and elevated, but the hospitality and warm welcome of your local still remains.
The first thing you’ll notice is our 60 year-old Moreton Bay Fig Tree still stands tall. An icon of The Brook and broader community, it’s draped in 7.5km of fairy lights and shines bright over our Beer Garden, the perfect spot for outdoor dining and for mates to grab a drink together (plus this area is dog friendly, so the pup can come too).
Our family friendly Bistro is made for people to come together over good food. The menu is seasonal, made up of fresh produce hand picked from our favourite local suppliers. Succulent steaks, fresh salads, hearty chicken parmies and all the pub classics you know and love. With indoor and outdoor kids areas, we’ve got something for every member of the family.
Our Sports Bar features 28 screens adorned across the walls, so you won’t miss a minute of the action, no matter where you sit. With fresh beer being poured on tap, and a modern and comfortable space to relax with your mates, there’s no better place to catch the game.
There’s plenty more on the way, with a brand new accommodation building, The Brook by Nightcap Plus scheduled to open later this year. Sitting adjacent to the Brook Hotel, guests will be able to enjoy a traditional Napoli pizza in the beer garden before returning to the comfort of their room right next door. Featuring 40 contemporary rooms, a modern lobby lounge and new gymnasium, there’s plenty more coming to Mitchelton soon.
