68 Victorian Pubs have raised $45,948 in donations for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
2018 marked the 12th anniversary of Parma Week, where $2 from every Parma sold at the participating ALH venues was donated to the appeal.
Parma Week runs annually in the seven days leading up to Good Friday and has raised more than $550,000 for the Good Friday Appeal since it’s beginning in 2006.
Skyways Hotel Venue Manager, Rachel Lewis presented the final cheque on Good Friday totalling at $45,948.
The final tally for 2018 donations to the Good Friday Appeal was $18,043,251.
Fundraising occurred across 68 participating hotels in Victoria. A full list of participating hotels can be found at rch.goodfridayappeal.com.au/parma-week.
Donations raised through Parma Week assist The Royal Children’s Hospital to treat and provide the best possible care to over 90,000 children in emergency and 255,0000 children in specialist clinics and their families.
The ALH Group operates over 330 licensed venues across Australia including iconic hotels and neighbourhood pubs, serving over 57,000 meals a day and employing 15,000 people.
