From the 30th of January to the 26th of February, ALH partnered with Rural Aid to bring Parmer for a Farmer to life. More than 300 ALH pubs across Australia took part, with $1 of each chicken parma sold going to support farmers affected by natural disasters.
Pubs sold a record 113,505 parmas (or parmi’s, depending on where you’re from) in February, for any mathematicians out there, that’s more than 4,000 parma’s each day!
All proceeds will go directly to Rural Aid, Australia’s most trusted rural charity. Providing critical support to farmers affected by natural disasters through financial, wellbeing and fodder assistance.
“Our pubs are at the heart of communities right across Australia, and we are pleased to be able to band together to run this campaign and support our farmers who work so hard to feed the country, even in the face of drought, fires, floods and cyclones," said ALH Managing Director, Mario Volpe.
